It all began with a blank canvas, a few simple colors, and a set of plastic palette knives. I did not know then that this simple experiment would alter the course of my life. When I finished that first piece, the look of genuine admiration in my spouse’s eyes and the belief he placed in me sparked the fire to start. In that moment, I realized that painting was not just a hobby, it was my hidden language to communicate with the world.

I am Maryam, an artist who perceives the world through the lens of volume, texture, and bold colors.

For me, the canvas is not merely a surface. It is a space to capture layers of emotion. I am deeply in love with the Impasto technique and the use of heavy texture pastes. These ridges, peaks, and depths reflect my inner world, where deep solitude and the feeling of displacement sometimes mingle with endless joy and exuberant bliss. With my palette knife, I place my soul onto the canvas, wanting the viewer to feel the art, not just see it.

My subjects are born from the heart of nature, from the smallest insects to animals, each symbolizing a unique emotion. To me, nature is a mirror that reflects all my inner contradictions. In my work, you will find the soothing silence of nature intertwined with the excitement of vibrant, passionate colors.
